Edith Rogers School is located in the Tweddle Place, a residential neighbourhood in the Millbourne community in the Mill Woods area of Edmonton. The neighbourhood is bounded on the north by Whitemud Drive, on the west by 91 Street, on the east by 76 Street, and on the south by Mill Woods Road and by 38 Avenue. Millbourne Road West cuts through the neighbourhood.

Edith Rogers School provides regular programming for students in Grade 7 to 9. The school is also a District site for special education programs; Literacy, Opportunities and Strategies.

Edith Rogers School was opened in 1975. The school is named after Mrs. Edith Rogers who served as a school board trustee from 1959 to 1974.

We've developed a school assessment plan to help you understand how we measure your child's learning. You'll find information about:

  • how we plan to communicate student progress
  • dates for progress reports, parent-teacher conferences, provincial exams, individualized program plan (IPP) reviews, and how and when English as a Second Language (ESL) proficiency benchmarks will be shared
  • how we determine students' grades/marks
  • parent, teacher and student responsibilities
  • the steps we take to address missing or incomplete work
